Dr Dan Wilson The Glow Centre
About Dan

As a psychologist/therapist I like to provide a relaxed and safe environment in which to work with my clients on the problems that they may be facing. I have a passion for implementing evidence-based treatments, whilst having a relaxed environment and still being able to have a laugh at the same time.

I have experience in Dialectical Behaviour Therapy, enhanced Cognitive Behaviour Therapy for eating disorders (CBT-e), and a range of CBT interventions for different presentations (e.g., depression, anxiety, Post-traumatic stress disorder, obsessive compulsive disorder). I work in private practice at The Glow Centre and also for the Child and Youth Mental Health Service Eating Disorders Team, where I am involved in clinical work as part of the CBT-e team, and lead research as an Adjunct Fellow of the UQ Child Health Research Centre, looking at ways to improve treatment outcomes in eating disorders and how to best tailor treatments to suit the individual.

Why I love working at The Glow Centre

I love working at The Glow Centre because it gives me the opportunity to do what I love – working with great people to help them achieve their goals.

Outside the practice

In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my wife and dog, running, cycling, caravanning, playing the guitar and falling off surfboards.
