About Dan

As a psychologist/therapist I like to provide a relaxed and safe environment in which to work with my clients on the problems that they may be facing. I have a passion for implementing evidence-based treatments, whilst having a relaxed environment and still being able to have a laugh at the same time.

I have experience in Dialectical Behaviour Therapy, enhanced Cognitive Behaviour Therapy for eating disorders (CBT-e), and a range of CBT interventions for different presentations (e.g., depression, anxiety, Post-traumatic stress disorder, obsessive compulsive disorder). I work in private practice at The Glow Centre and also for the Child and Youth Mental Health Service Eating Disorders Team, where I am involved in clinical work as part of the CBT-e team, and lead research looking at ways to improve treatment outcomes in eating disorders and how to best tailor treatments to suit the individual.

Why I love working at The Glow Centre

I love working at The Glow Centre because it gives me the opportunity to do what I love – working with great people to help them achieve their goals.

Outside the practice

In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my wife and dog, running, cycling, caravanning, playing the guitar and falling off surfboards.
