The health and safety of every client and staff member is paramount to us.

We are taking many precautions at The Glow Centre, to try and keep our staff and clients safe from COVID-19. The precautions include:

  • Increased cleaning throughout the practice

  • Using air purifiers

  • Providing hand sanitiser

  • Providing soap and paper towels in bathrooms

  • Monitoring physical distance (1.5m) between staff, clients and visitors

  • Displaying educational materials about hand hygiene, cough etiquette, and the symptoms of COVID-19.

COVID-19 HEALTH AND SAFETY ENTRY REQUESTS

1. By visiting our premises, we request that you take certain precautions to help keep you, your therapist, our staff and other clients safer from exposure to illness:

  • arrive no earlier than 5 minutes before your appointment time;

  • maintain physical distancing precautions of 1.5m between yourself and others;

  • adhere to good hygiene when sneezing or coughing (cover your mouth and nose with bent elbow or into a tissue, dispose of tissue in a bin and use hand sanitizer);

  • advise guests to drop you off and return to collect you later (parents, partners, support workers etc.) - if a guest will be joining you in session please advise us ahead of time;

  • follow other health and safety instructions by our staff, if requested.

2. We are maintaining limited occupancy within our premises:

  • no additional guests are to wait inside our premises;

  • we request that guests drop you off and return to collect you no more than 5 minutes before the end of your session.

3. Please do not attend in person if you:

  • are sick and displaying symptoms of COVID-19;

  • have been in close contact with a person who has COVID-19;

  • have been tested for COVID-19 and are awaiting results (contact the National Coronavirus hotline if you need advice 1800 020 080);

  • if you are isolating and feel well enough to keep your appointment:

    • please contact us to change your appointment to Telehealth (please contact us minimum 1 hour prior to your session to arrange)

    • Medicare rebates still apply with a valid referral;

    • your mental health is our priority and as such your treatment plan should proceed as intended without interruption, therefore, we encourage you to consider using the option of Telehealth.

4. If your clinician is required to isolate:

  • If they are well, they will continue to provide therapy via telehealth. We will notify you via SMS if this is the case, and you will receive an email with the telehealth appointment link;

  • If they are unwell and are unable to provide therapy, we will notify you via SMS and reschedule your appointment for when the therapist is recovered.
